Electrical Project Manager

Description

 Bachner Electro USA is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team! Since 1920, we have been at the forefront of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering industry, providing top-notch service to our clients. Today, we are flourishing in the Upstate as a security technology wiring and systems corporation and we need your help to continue the momentum!  

Requirements

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise electrical construction to ensure projects are performed in accordance with contract, plans, budget, and schedule. 
  • Will be client-, engineering-, subcontractors-, and vendor-facing. 
  • Work with other staff to plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions. 
  • Provide technical assistance as required (interpreting drawings, resolving issues, recommend construction/maintenance methods 
  • Assist Electrical Project Manager in developing and implementing project procedures and standards. 
  • Ensure on-site personnel comply with project procedures and client procedures. 
  • Supervise a crew of Foremans and Craftsmans. 
  • Attend training and safety meetings. 
  • Demonstrate safe working practices to other technicians by utilizing PPE and always working safely. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of electrical experience in an industrial setting required. 
  • Journeyman Electrician License preferred. 
  • Valid Driver's License 
  • High school or equivalent required. 
  • While most work is in and around the Greenville/Spartanburg area, we service several major auto manufacturers throughout North America and travel is required, as needed. 
  • Must adhere to OSHA Safety Standards 
  • Must understand NEC requirements. 
  • Must be available to work flexible hours to accommodate client schedules with some overtime and overnight travel. 
  • Occasional weekend and holidays required (pay premiums apply) 
  • Frequently required to walk, sit, and use hands to pull cables and wires, use power tools, work in awkward positions, and climb ladders. 
  • Must be able to safely lift and/or move up to 75lbs. 
  • Must successfully pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and a drug screen.
