About the Role

Baselane is seeking an experienced Brand & Influencer Marketing Manager to drive the growth of our customer base through innovative and strategic marketing initiatives. In this role, you will manage and scale Baselane’s influencer and ambassador programs, develop impactful campaigns, and build partnerships that solidify Baselane as the go-to financial platform for real estate investors. Your work will directly contribute to acquiring new banking customers and driving measurable business growth.


This high-impact role offers the opportunity to own key growth channels, define Baselane’s brand presence in a competitive market, and play a critical role in shaping the next phase of our growth journey. Please note that this is a hybrid role that will require at least 2 days a week in our NYC or downtown Toronto office. Our NYC office is located a block from Union Square, and our Toronto office is located a few blocks from Union Station.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Baselane’s comprehensive brand and influencer marketing strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Set and manage budgets for influencer and brand marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI, with a focus on YouTube and Meta (mainly Instagram).
  • Scale Baselane’s influencer marketing program, identifying and nurturing partnerships with influencers and content creators who align with the brand.
  • Manage and grow Baselane’s Brand Ambassador Program, creating tailored incentives and resources to sustain engagement and results.
  • Manage and build the team as the function grows.
  • Create and execute innovative, data-driven marketing campaigns that drive awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Develop creative briefs and oversee content creation, ensuring campaigns meet brand guidelines and help achieve company conversion goals.
  • Collaborate with media and creative agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns that maximize reach and customer acquisition.
  • Negotiate contracts with influencers, brand ambassadors, and third-party agencies to optimize resources and ensure alignment with Baselane’s growth objectives.
  • Analyze performance data, measure campaign effectiveness, and continuously refine strategies to achieve target KPIs.
  • Work closely with internal teams to integrate influencer and ambassador efforts into broader acquisition-focused marketing strategies.
  • Track campaign performance and analyze key metrics to refine strategies, optimize ROI, and ensure consistent growth in acquiring new customers.
  • Stay close to trends in influencer marketing, social media, and real estate investment spaces to keep Baselane relevant, visible, and effective in acquiring new customers.


Who You Are
  • You have 5–8 years of experience in brand or influencer marketing, with a proven track record of driving customer acquisition.
  • You have experience building, scaling, and optimizing influencer and ambassador marketing programs with measurable success.
  • You are adept at managing $50k+ monthly budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and delivering results.
  • You have strong opinions about strategy and budget management and are comfortable managing leadership expectations. 
  • You excel at relationship-building, fostering strong partnerships with influencers, ambassadors, and third-party agencies.
  • You are a skilled project manager who can balance multiple priorities and deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced environment. 
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, focusing on clarity and actionable execution.
  • You bring a data-driven mindset with expertise in tracking and measuring brand spending to ensure ROI and customer acquisition growth.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling narratives for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You thrive in autonomous and collaborative environments, quickly adapting to evolving priorities and challenges.
  • You are proactive, eager to learn, and bring a positive, action-oriented approach to your work.

Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, location, and business needs.

In Toronto, the base salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 CAD.

In NYC, the base salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 USD.
