THE ROLE

The Brand Designer will play a pivotal role in supporting Baseten's sales, marketing, and product teams by creating polished illustrations, graphics, and other visual assets. This role focuses on design execution, ensuring the brand is consistently represented across mediums. While expertise in motion design, animation, and video editing is preferred, the core expectation is exceptional skill in crafting high-quality, static, and dynamic design assets.

WHAT THIS ROLE REQUIRES

  • Core Skills:

    • Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

    • Advanced skill in Figma for web and interface designs.

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Familiarity with animation tools such as Adobe After Effects.

    • Experience with video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

  • Professional Experience:

    • 3+ years in brand design, with a strong portfolio showcasing polished work across static and dynamic assets.

  • Creative Excellence:

    • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition, with demonstrated ability to adapt a brand across mediums.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present design concepts to stakeholders.

  • Time Management:

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design Execution:

    • Create and deliver high-quality illustrations, marketing materials, social media graphics, website visuals, presentations, and event assets.

    • Ensure all visual assets adhere to and extend Baseten’s brand guidelines.

  • Brand Extension:

    • Adapt and evolve Baseten’s brand identity for new platforms and mediums while maintaining visual consistency.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to translate their needs into effective visual solutions that drive engagement and understanding.

  • Trend Awareness:

    • Stay current with design trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team to keep Baseten’s visual identity competitive and relevant.

  • Optional Motion Design & Animation:

    • Develop motion graphics and animations to enhance storytelling across digital platforms, including social media and presentations.

  • Optional Video Editing:

    • Edit and produce video content to support marketing campaigns and product launches.
