Account Director 


Bazaarvoice is looking for an experienced sales professional to manage, partner and grow a portfolio of strategic clients in the UK, as well as acquire new enterprise level prospects. The Account Director is a hybrid role of delivering strategic, commercially oriented business direction to our clients, as well as managing mixed methodology sales processes to consultatively onboard new logos.

 

Therefore, we are seeking an individual who is passionate about solving clients’ business problems and exceeding retention targets, at the same time as possessing a hunter like sales mentality to find opportunities for growth and new revenue both within those existing relationships, and new ones. Candidates should have a proven track record of target over-achievement and strong experience with building champions within complex organisations.




What's involved;
  • Run a territory franchise, including territory management, account planning and generating pipeline on a continuous basis.
  • Sell high-ROI software solutions to C level stakeholders, navigating complex sales cycles, building consensus across multiple business units and successfully driving sales processes to close
  • Manage all strategic and commercial aspects of the relationship, to make the client successful with all Bazaarvoice products and service and to nurture and grow the Bazaarvoice relationship
  • Identify and build opportunities to grow your business and apply a strategic, detail-oriented approach
  • Define Bazaarvoice’s account strategy for success with your assigned portfolio of business
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and client to deliver a joint strategic plan to enable the client to achieve program success
  • Ability to navigate and build champions across complex client organisations, tailoring strategy recommendations based on identified business needs


Requirements must have;
  • 5 years + experience working closely with clients within an established a SaaS environment.
  • Experience of consultative solution selling into, as well as sophisticated knowledge and understanding of the Retail sector.
  • Experience includes evidence of developing and enhancing complex or multifaceted customer relationships to deliver incremental value and revenue  
  • Proven ability to map out accounts and align further strategic solutions to solve business problems for the client. 
  • A true team player that has the ability to pull people together to achieve the goal both within the client account and at Bazaarvoice. 
  • Having the confidence and conviction in all stages of the client lifecycle to be seen as a thought leader by the clients.
