Commercial Lines Administrative Assistant

Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Meridian, ID! 

The Commercial Lines Administrative Assistant provides vital clerical and administrative support to the Client Service Representative Team by managing electronic filing, pulling reports from carrier websites, assisting with renewal submissions, and overseeing policy checking accuracy. This role fosters strong carrier and agency relationships, maintains confidential data, and ensures smooth office operations by participating in front desk duties and internal team events. 

How You Will Contribute: 

• Perform various clerical and administrative functions to provide support to the Client Service Representative Team  

• Develop carrier relationships and participate in team events 

• Assist in creating renewal submissions 

• Responsible to pull loss run information from carrier web sites 

• Responsible to pull carrier activity reports from carrier web sites 

• Building Applicant Profiles  

• Indexing/Assigning Task in Electronic Filing Cabinet  

• Assist in maintaining system filing and accuracy in AMS and Electronic Filing Cabinet  

• Oversee policy checking review for insurance line of coverage 

• Maintain pleasant and satisfactory relationships with all company partners and agency personnel, communicating all relevant information to the respective parties 

• Maintain appropriate level of confidentially of information processed 

• Participate as backup to the front desk answering phones, route callers, and take and deliver messages, processing mail 

Licenses and Certifications:  

• Willingness to obtain P&C license. 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 
  

• 1+ years of office administration experience 

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
