Senior Project Manager - M&A

Our client is actively seeking a IT Project Manager to support their post merger integration efforts as part of a larger M&A initiative.This position will be onsite 3 days per week in Lake Forest, IL.SummaryThe ideal candidate will have project management experience focused around post-merger integrations as part of the M&A lifecycle.Responsibilities• Excellent communications skills and ability to present and interact with senior leadership across the organization, inside and outside of BTS• Strong project management skillset needed, including proven ability to lead and drive project success.• Should be well organized with the ability to review and track the project schedule end to end.• Must be a self-starter, able to manage a variety of projects, and be able to communicate to leadership.• Candidate must possess strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills given the high degrees of strategic impact and project complexity, along with potential senior executive interactions.Expectations:• Must have M&A experience• Develop, execute, and manage project(s) within the defined scope.• Lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, working with project sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of project completion.• Build and manage project’s work breakdown structure, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the project.• Ensure transparent reporting of project status, issues, risks, and financials.• The individual will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.• Performs a variety of tasks.• May lead and direct the work of others.• Be able to work under general supervision.• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
