Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary: We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. The HR Coordinator will support various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of HR best practices. Key... Responsibilities: Recruitment and Onboarding: • Assist with job postings and advertisement processes. • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews. • Prepare offer letters and employment agreements. • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and necessary documentation. Employee Records Management: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. • Ensure proper documentation and filing of HR documents. • Prepare and track Immigration applications. • Assist in the administration of HRIS and other HR systems. Employee Relations: • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide general HR support. • Assist in the organization of employee engagement activities and events. • Support the implementation of employee programs and initiatives, such as the summer internship program, wellness initiatives, and employee engagement. HR Compliance: • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. • Conduct audits of HR practices and records to ensure compliance. Training and Development: • Coordinate training sessions and employee development programs. • Maintain training records and track employee participation. • Assist in identifying training needs and organizing relevant training sessions. Benefits Administration: • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries. • Coordinate benefits programs and ensure timely communication of changes. • Maintain accurate benefits records and support the benefits renewal process. HR Reporting and Analytics: • Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics. • Provide data and insights to support HR decision-making. • Assist in HR projects and initiatives as needed. Offboarding: • Coordinate the offboarding process for all departing employees, including resignations, terminations, and retirements. • Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Prepare and distribute necessary documentation, including termination letters, exit checklists, exit surveys, and final pay statements. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. • 3 - 5 years of experience in an HR support role. • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Proficiency in HRIS systems (BambooHR, Lattice, Traliant), Microsoft Office/ Google Workspace and Atlassian. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred but not required. Work Environment: • Office-based role with potential for occasional remote work. • Collaborative and dynamic work environment.
