Billing Specialist, Member Support

The Billing Care Support is responsible for answering member billing inquiries and delivering a best in class customer support experience.

What you’ll be doing:

    • Answer high volume of calls and emails daily
    • Provide billing support by reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, re-submitting, re-processing and adjusting claims.
    • Follow up with members to check if they need additional support
    • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
    • Identify and assess member’s needs to achieve satisfaction
    • Determine the quickest, most effective way to answer a member’s question
    • Identify trends or issues and initiate corrective action to improve revenue cycle management.
    • Own ad hoc operational projects as needed by the Billing Manager

    • Responding promptly to member inquiries
