Your Mission

We are looking for a Culture & Event Specialist to join the Talent Acquisition & Engagement team at BlaBlaCar for 8 months (April to November).


As Culture & Event Specialist, your role will be to foster an inclusive and inspiring work environment within BlaBlaCar through impactful events and inspiring communications. You’re expected to create and implement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, well-being, and overall engagement with the company's mission and values. 


You will be reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition & Engagement and working with one apprentice, reporting to you.


Your Key Responsibilities
  • Onboarding: Facilitate a smooth and engaging experience for new hires during welcome days and onboarding weeks.
  • Wellness and Mental Health: Implement roadmap initiatives, including conferences and workshop on mental health, Quality of Life Week (June), and Mental Health Day (October)
  • Event Management: Plan and execute key events such as the Impact Week (June), People offsite (June), Back to School Party (September), Kids Event (October), and start working on end-of-year celebrations (December).
  • Internal Communications: Ensure overall good communication to employees around Culture & Engagement initiatives. 
  • Team Management: Management of one team member.


Your Qualifications
  • Event Planning and Management: Expertise in organizing, coordinating, and executing events, including budgeting, vendor coordination, and logistical planning.
  • Communications: Expertise in developing engaging internal communications around events and initiatives to drive employee engagement
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, resources, and outcomes are effectively handled.
  • Full working proficiency in English
