About this roleBusiness Description:BlackRock’s US Wealth Advisory (USWA) business manages the firm’s relationships with US retail investors and financial advisors. Representing a full suite of strategies from iShares ETFs and mutual funds to Alternatives, SMAs, USWA’s mandate is to deliver One BlackRock to wealth clients.Role Description :iShares Market Leaders in US Wealth Advisory are responsible for accelerating the growth of iShares and representing BlackRock. The scope of their role will include 3 core elements: (1) Be the authority on iShares to sell Core, Fixed Income, Factors, Sustainable and Megatrends to the largest and fastest growing advisors across all channels; RIA, Independent and Regionals and Wirehouse. (2) Deliver deep ETF expertise, education and market insights through the presentation of iShares content in client meetings, scaled in-person and digital events. (3) Partner with the segmented Market Leaders to identify and drive iShares sales opportunities with a focus on the whole portfolio. The iShares Market Leader reports into the Divisional Director. The primary geography for this role will be UT/CO/AZ/NM.Primary Responsibilities:• Demonstrate mastery of BlackRock iShares products and ETF landscape.• Deliver fiduciary and investment insights through portfolio construction conversations.• Accelerate the growth of iShares within a given geography.• Embrace data-driven segmentation and the BlackRock sales process to (remove) Drive deeper relationships with the largest and fastest growing firms and advisors.• Be an exceptional Partner- Segmented sales, portfolio consulting, alternatives and SMA teams to deliver the entire firm.• Profile to learn more about our clients and deploy the appropriate resources.• Embrace technology to deliver an exceptional client experience.Skills and Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree required• CIMA or CFA preferred• Minimum 5+ years as an experienced ETF or mutual fund wholesaler (external)• Strong financial services background with knowledge of investment trends and advisor practices• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills• Strong territory management and sales skills, including profiling and resource deployment• NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required• Clean U-4• Travel is requiredFor Colorado only: The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $230,000.0. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
