Scrum Master (6-Months)-(Contract)

BlackStone eIT is looking for a motivated Scrum Master to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating the agile development process within our teams, ensuring that Scrum principles and practices are effectively implemented.

In this role, you will work closely with the product owner and development team, helping to organize and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Your ability to remove obstacles and foster a collaborative environment will be crucial for the successful delivery of projects during this contract period.


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach and guide the team to adhere to Scrum values and principles.
  • Collaborate with the product owner to prioritize and manage the product backlog.
  • Identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress.
  • Monitor team performance and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
  • Support team members in their professional development and agile practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
