Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth’s orbit and beyond. Engineered with a reusable first stage and a seven-meter payload fairing, New Glenn is building the road to space.We are a diverse team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of safety. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in engineering• 15+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:• Ground Up Design & Operations of Launch Vehicle Power & Control Systems• Launch Vehicle Electrical Umbilicals & Disconnect Systems• Data Recording Systems• Simulator Designs for Ground & Launch Vehicle Systems• Control Systems for “Launch Vehicle Ready” Commit Signals, Including Pyro Devices• Working Knowledge of AFSPCMAN-9710.• Familiarity with USAF certification processes for EGSE systems, as applied to launch vehicle power, umbilicals and control systems• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired• Ability to apply NEC electrical standards and NASA & CCAFS regulations for hazardous systems, as they affect requirements development, system activation, final certification, and operations/maintenance• Experience supporting proposal development, cost & schedule development, and successful program execution (including extensive subcontractor management/oversight)• Ability to obtain a top secret clearance.Compensation Range ForCO applicants is $153,636.00-$215,090.40Other Site Ranges May DifferApplications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.Inclusivity StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
