Instructional Designer / Training Specialist

Are you passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences? Do you have a knack for designing instructional materials that captivate learners and drive meaningful outcomes? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! This position is full time on site in our Indianapolis, Indiana office. #LI-Onsite


 We are seeking a talented Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the learning journey of our employees by designing, developing, and facilitating impactful learning experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in instructional design, a creative flair for content creation, and the ability to deliver engaging live sessions.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Utilize appropriate design models to create comprehensive curriculum that aligns with learning objectives and organizational goals.
  • Develop useful and engaging materials for both online and offline delivery.
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate interactive live classes and workshops.
  • Leverage educational technology tools for the development of e-learning.
  • Create assessments to measure learner understanding and track progress.
  • Solicit and collect feedback from participants to assess instructional effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate and relevant.
  • Actively seek ways to enhance the overall learning experience through regular reviews and assessments.
  • Help maintain and clean the training facility and equipment.


Required Qualifications:
  • Five years proven experience in instructional design and developing engaging learning materials.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills for live classes and workshops.
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (Storyline and Rise preferred)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.


Preferred Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premier, etc.)
  • Videography and Photography
  • Fluent in Spanish


Compensation and Benefits
  • $55k-$65k annually commensurate upon experience.
