Job Description

Your tasks:

►     Component design evaluation and development concerning assembly and interconnection technology focusing on soldering on PCB

►     Lifetime description of solder joints based on modelling or experiment

►     Usage of big data methods in order to increase quality and efficiency

►     Work in cross-functional simultaneous engineering teams, with product development teams and manufacturing engineers, both locally and internationally.

►      Setting up and evaluating experiments.

►      Support problem solving for series production

►      Proper documentation of activities

Qualifications

►      Master degree in the field of engineering (eg: chemical, mechanical, electrical, material engineering)

►      Experience in the field of assembly and interconnect technology (SMT, THT soldering) is an advantage

►      Knowledge of statistical methods is an advantage

►      Good communication skills in English

►      Precise working style

►      Self-motivated team player with strong desire for continuous learning
