Events & Rentals Marketing Specialist

We are currently hiring a Marketing & Events Specialist in Boston, MA.

The Events & Rentals Marketing Specialist – BTAP - is the champion of the marketing events & rentals plans for Samuel Adams Downtown Taproom. This role is responsible for the sustainable growth of our downtown retail location through unique events and rentals plans that win the hearts and minds of our drinkers and coworkers. The specialist collaborates with the Sr. Marketing & Events Manager on strategic event strategy, including marketing said events and rentals, for the Downtown Boston Taproom, with an overall goal of driving brand awareness and guest visits to our locations through onsite activations.

What You'll Brew: 
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Marketing & Events Manager, Sr. Events & Rentals Marketing Specialist-SABB, and onsite FOH team to develop ways to bring our national brands to life at our location through tentpole events, programs, specials, displays, recurring weekly events etc.
  • Drive coordination and execution of all events with the onsite FOH team to create unique guest experiences and traffic-driving programming, including effective communication of ownership for all onsite activations
  • Collaboration with design team on look and feel for events, including marketing assets, both digital and physical, with the goal of driving awareness and attendance
  • Coordinate with Social & Digital Communications Coordinator on social calendar to drive events, programming, and rentals through social media, newsletter, etc. 
  • Ideate and implement strategic rentals plan, including selling and marketing tactics to drive awareness, leads, and bookings
  • Serve as main contact for all rental inquiries and requests, as well as onsite liaison for client tours, communicating and assigning ownership to FOH staff as necessary for day-of execution
  • Work collaboratively with a cross functional team of local marketing, brand and taproom coworkers to drive the development of the annual marketing plan with the goal of driving brand awareness, foot traffic and revenue growth for the taproom through events and rentals
  • Manage annual event budgets including expense projections and invoices, vendor negotiation, and collaboration with Sr. Marketing & Events manager or advertising plan and contracts
  • Provide recaps/reporting for programming, events promotions, etc. to help determine success and opportunities, and assist in the creation of a monthly overall marketing report

Minimum Qualifications: 
  • 4 Year Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years in marketing or event experience in promotions, program development and execution and general marketing
  • Strong project management knowledge & experience
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills with an innate attention to detail
  • Multitasking and working on various projects at the same time
  • Ability to work independently or cross functionally through team collaboration
  • Highly organized, flexible, self-motivated, and able to succeed in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Level: 8
 
In accordance with pay transparency laws the salary range for this role if hired is $42,900 – $85,300 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
