ACM Staffing is a local, Speech Therapist owned company, and our goal is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all. We value and advocate for each of our therapists. We are looking to fill a 4 day a week SLP role with a local district in Middlesex County, MA.

ASHA FEES PAID

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree
  • SLP
  • AAC experience and comfort working with an ASD population in an ABA based program.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy services to children with speech and language disorders and related disorders.
  • Complete speech and language evaluations and report at IEP meetings
  • Develop treatment plans for children and adolescents with speech and language disorders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all services provided.

  • Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the areas of child speech and language development

Job Duties -:

  • Provide students with intensive instruction in speech, language, communication, and pragmatic language skills as determined by the Team process and subsequent IEP formulation
  • Assess students via formal and informal test measures
  • Participate in the development of student’s Individual Education Program (IEP)
  • Assist teachers and other special education staff in the development and implementation of curriculum accommodations/modifications and appropriate classroom strategies as determined by the Team process and subsequent IEP formulation
  • Maintain appropriate records and provide timely reports
  • Keep abreast of new information, innovative ideas and techniques for students with communication disorders
  • Consistent, reliable and punctual attendance is essential for supervision and instruction of the students
