Title: Brand Platform Marketing Intern

Location: Dallas (Remote)

Reports to: Director, Marketing Communication

Role Type: Full-Time / Temporary Role for Seasonality SupporHours: 30hrs / week

Duration: Through March 2024


The Role:

The Internship for LTK Advertising will assist in driving revenue by supporting a marketing team that executes campaign plans (calendar planning and coordination, sales materials, and program execution) through brand advertising communication on LTK Shopper and Creator apps targeting Creators and Consumers. This role requires not only dedication to detail and world-class follow through, but also a personality that is up to the task of shouldering responsibilities that may change day-to-day. This individual must ensure that information is presented accurately, appropriately, and that reporting requirements and deadlines are met in a timely fashion. This position requires an individual who can work well under pressure and is flexible and easily able to multi-task and re-prioritize when necessary. The number one quality we are looking for is someone with intrinsic motivation to get work done.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute brand advertisement delivery via digital, email, social ads on the LTK platform.
  • Support with advertising planning, management, and measurement of advertising outcomes. 
  • The ideal candidate will have an understanding of digital advertising campaigns, sales support materials, planning, trafficking assets, executing program status in Hubspot and Asana. 
  • Nurture healthy internal and external relationships with the intent of building partnerships with brands and creating an environment for continuous advertising enhancements.
  • Create client-facing professional advertising recaps and reporting documents.
  • Routine communication and advertising updates to sales.
  • This role operates within a collective to work amongst multiple brands and rotates daily between assisting different teams.


Requirements:

Technical/Educational Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or 2 years of college work
  • Proficiency with general office software (Excel, Word, Google Docs, Google Apps) 
  • Internship or part-time work experience in social marketing, marketing agency and/or marketing operations, campaign management, account coordinating, or related field
  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks whether mundane or exciting in order to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Support a cross-functional team of marketing and sales clientele
  • Contributing to a robust and scalable marketing calendar
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented individual—maintaining order, efficiency, and productivity 
  • A self-starter, bar-raiser and natural collaborator, this role must build key connections both internally and externally, while communicating and delivering complex campaigns effectively.


Strongly Preferred Competencies / Skills:

  • Very detailed-oriented individual with strong organization skills and daily punctuality.
  • Highly communicative individual. Demonstrated success in communication skills:
  • Collaborative individual comfortable with outreach to internal stakeholders as needed. 
  • Ability to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively, particularly in professional email to creators discussing LTK business.
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to analyze data to derive insights and make decisions. 
  •  Proven ability to multitask, prioritize and collaborate to meet deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Examples of being a natural bar-raiser; a “can-do” attitude, proactive, curious are absolute musts.


Other Desired Skills:

  • Industry foundational knowledge: General knowledge of influencer marketing helpful.
  • Foundational organizational & project management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and attention to detail to routinely produce zero-defect work
  • Basic social media background with experience in multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, and blog postings
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ideal team player attitude and proven ability to work with team members across business functions.
  • Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to individual team requirements.
  • Positive attitude with enthusiasm for change.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Travel is not required for this position.
