About the role

The Project Manager flies the flag for best-in-class experience for our partners, leveraging the tools in your tool kit to land at the sweet spot for ‘ways of working’. They play a key role in the collaboration that drives business growth and enhances organisational effectiveness and efficiency.

Working closely across multiple teams internally and translating effective solutions to our external partners, you will establish a mutually beneficial partnership, define project objectives, allocate resources effectively and ensure the exceptional execution of priority projects.

Please note that this is a 12 month contract.


Responsibilities

·       You are on the hook for directing everyone's time and effort to the right things to achieve our business goals
·       Gather stakeholders to firm up the concept and translate it into scope of work easily understood, flex with changes in the project schedule, assess the eye raising challenges to know when to run them up the flagpole, and maintain momentum
·       Create and maintain the relevant documentation required to capture the project end to end, developing a consistency that can be replicated across multiple initiatives and tasks business wide.
·       You are obsessive about detail and deadlines. You are responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and on brand.
·       Keep key objectives and goals on track by spotting dependencies early, bring decisions to a head and honestly challenge assumptions to take us on the journey towards ultimate alignment. You’ll take break the complex down into manageable tasks for our teams to deliver.
·       Comfort in chaos and ambiguity and an ability to use your passion for efficiency and improvement to map out the path to clarity. Back yourself, maintain integrity and trustworthiness with a humility/willingness to question your own assumptions.
·       You are solutions-orientated and soak in the details, equally flipping between big-picture thinking and what needs to be done now without jeopardizing the focus of the team
 
 
About You

·       Start-up or scale-up experience an ideal training ground. Bonus points for dabbling in climate tech, sustainability, renewables, energy efficiency, government or community programs.
·       Demonstrable partnerships experience; interfacing 1-1 with corporates, government and/or industry partners, particularly in the context of co-delivering a commercial project.
·       You are that go-to person - someone that is curious, and seeks to be a knowledge expert, you know the value of a superpower and you bring yours.
·       A bias for action, being a positive impact and a force for good. Lead by example in everything you do.
·       Second-to-none interpersonal communication style, a genuine desire to understand the inner workings of all levels of the organisation, and get at the core of what is going on in other teams worlds.
·       You know what it means to be ‘working backwards’… you are customer obsessed and motivated not to walk past pain-points you discover and look holistically when finding solutions.
·       You are comfortable working autonomously and get on with it in times of ambiguity, shifting focus from one new thing to another, juggling lots all at once, but prioritising your day to day on your own - you work smart.
