At Brisk Teaching, we aim to lighten the workload for teachers with AI powered tools that take care of administrative tasks so that teachers can spend more time doing what they love - teaching. Brisk is an AI-powered Chrome extension that simplifies teaching by integrating seamlessly with tools teachers already use like Google Classroom, Docs, Slides, YouTube, and articles. In seconds, teachers can create instructional materials, provide feedback, and evaluate student work - right from where they’re already working.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging potential school and district partners, qualifying opportunities, and driving the early stages of the sales process. You’ll play a critical role in expanding Brisk’s footprint by understanding client needs and demonstrating how Brisk’s solutions can enhance teaching and learning outcomes. Your work will lay the foundation for strong partnerships and contribute to the success of our mission.

YOU WILL: 

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and research potential school and district clients using tools like CRM databases, LinkedIn, and other sources.

  • Client Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects via email, phone calls, and other channels to introduce Brisk Teaching’s solutions.

  • Qualify Opportunities: Assess client needs, challenges, and goals to determine if they align with Brisk Teaching’s offerings.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team: Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to transition qualified leads into the sales pipeline.

  • Follow-Up and Relationship Building: Maintain regular contact with prospects to nurture relationships and keep Brisk Teaching top of mind.

  • CRM Management: Accurately track and update prospect interactions and pipeline activity in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Achieve and Exceed Goals: Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), such as outreach targets, lead conversion rates, and revenue contributions.

YOU HAVE:

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, lead generation, or a related role, preferably in SaaS or edtech.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect authentically with educators and decision-makers.

  • Sales Savvy: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a high-energy, results-driven environment.

  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot).

  • Education Passion: A genuine interest in improving education and understanding the challenges faced by educators and administrators.

  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and contribute to Brisk Teaching’s mission.
