Job Description:
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Business Intelligence Analyst to support our core business unit's, you will play a vital role in analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions. In addition to business unit support, will leverage reporting capabilities to streamline various technology reporting needs.
What You’ll Do

Collaborate with stakeholders, including our IVANS and Tarmika Business unit, to analyze, report, and solve complex problems.

Utilize Tableau to create insightful and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making and operational efficiency.

Conduct data analysis and data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of information used in reporting and analysis.

Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets and provide actionable recommendations to drive process improvements and operational effectiveness.

Perform root cause analysis on operational issues, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau reports and dashboards, ensuring effective utilization and adoption of the tools.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for someone who:

Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office
Your experience should include some or all of the following:
-
years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance industry or
working on insurance-related software projects. -
Strong proficiency in Tableau, with experience creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on data accuracy and quality assurance.

Experience with SQL or other querying languages for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
