We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage the successful completion of solar energy projects, ensuring they adhere to stringent quality standards and are completed in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. 



You Are:

You Will:
  • Develop and manage the customer relationship throughout the project lifecycle to ensure positive outcomes
  • Driving upfront planning and scheduling of projects including but not limited to: Budgets, Forecasting, Risk Management and Interconnections.
  • Approve Invoices, Change Orders and Purchase Orders
  • Manage project activities from pre-construction through commercial operation
  • Bring the Sales, Development, and Construction teams together and lead the closeout process, focusing on all critical aspects of the project and capturing lessons learned, project metrics, and considerations for the future
  • Coordinate equipment selection and procurement with the Procurement & Engineering team
  • Generate and negotiate contract agreements with the customer and suppliers and Subcontractors in accordance with company standards and metrics.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and across the project portfolio; evaluate alternatives, propose solutions, and gain team buy-in
  • Report to the leadership team on factors such as project status, QC results, safety, quality, schedule, risks, opportunities, financial factors, changes, people, and customer relationship
  • Collaborate with the Safety team to continuously review and improve our safety program


What You Bring to the Team:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Project Management, or a related field AND/OR construction trade license that requires a four year apprenticeship OR equivalent
  • 4+ years of related experience in Construction/Energy industry preferred
  • Knowledge of NEC and IBC
  • PMP Certification and/or NABCEP  a plus
  • Experience working in a Development or IPP/Owner a plus
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications
  • Familiarity with wide variety of construction tools and technology
  • Experience managing people, including subcontractors, and processes in a fast paced, results-driven company
  • Experience improving systems and processes to drive a scalable organization
  • Project management experience with budgeting, resource planning and management
  • Competent on CRM software, such as Salesforce, Procore, and Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite office applications 
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license and car insurance that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of the state where you reside

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and New York City Salary Transparency Law, Catalyze provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado or New York City. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado and New York City, NY only, the range of starting pay for this role is $116,000 -$115,000.
