Job Title:Senior DesignerLocation:Mechanicsburg, PAJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for performing/reviewing a wide variety of design and plan presentation functions on multiple projects.Key Responsibilities:• Prepare contract plans, and sketches utilizing Bentley MicroStation CADD, lnRoads, and OpenRoads and/or MicroDesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D design software.• Assist the Work Group Leader in supervising the efforts of the highway project team.• Perform complex highway design tasks with minimal supervision and guidance.• Interpret field survey data.• Perform/check required calculations, computation of quantities, construction cost, and specifications.• Prepare/Check highway construction details.• Prepare/check design submissions for review agencies and/or client including reports.• Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:• Associate degree or other technical school graduate.• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a highway design setting.• Attain training prerequisites according to CDR-M schedules.• Knowledge of PennDOT and other clients' design procedures, specifications, and plan presentation format.• Knowledge of highway design and field survey concepts.• Knowledge of CDR-M Design and Office Procedures.• Skilled in using Bentley MicroStation CADD, lnRoads, and OpenRoads and/or MicroDesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D design software.Estimated Salary:$90,000 - $120,000 per year
