Renewals Specialist, Seattle

Our daily IPv4 scans and the world’s largest SSL/TLS Certificate database enables customers with the most accurate and continuously updated attack surfaces. Enterprise security teams leverage Censys to keep pace with the speed of the business and gain an advantage on the rapidly evolving cyber-attack threats.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Renewal Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and facilitating the renewal process of contracts for our clients. This position requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Renewal Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of contract renewals. This includes monitoring contract expiration dates, initiating renewal discussions with clients, and negotiating terms.
  2. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure they are updated during the renewal process and to address any concerns that may impact the renewal.
  3. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze contract performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports for management on renewal status and outcomes.
  4. Collaboration with Customer Success: Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless renewal process and to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities during renewal negotiations.
  5. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all renewal documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies and legal requirements. Here you will work closely with the Sales Operations team.
  6. Market Awareness: Stay informed about market trends and competitor strategies to effectively negotiate contract terms that are beneficial for both the client and the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a renewal specialist or similar role, preferably in the technology/saas industry.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce ideally).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Our target salary range for this role is between $55,000 USD and $75,000 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.
