The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior Talent Partner to lead talent acquisition strategies for both internal and external recruitment efforts. Reporting to our Director of People and Culture, you will partner with international hiring managers to develop and execute strategic hiring plans that attract top-tier talent.
From full-cycle recruitment to pre-boarding and collaborating closely with the P&C Advisors, the Senior Talent Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping Certn's high-performance culture by matching individuals whose values align with our organization's mission. This position entails providing valuable guidance to leaders on talent attraction, enhancing experiences, and ensuring seamless communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
This position will be a 70/30 split between talent acquisition and general people and culture duties, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to both strategic recruiting initiatives and overall PC functions effectively. Due to the international requirements of this role, preference will be given to candidates able to work in the eastern or central time zone.
As our Senior Talent Partner, you can expect to:
Oversee end-to-end recruitment process for all departments across Canada, US, the UK and Australia including pre-screening, conducting interviews, pipeline management, offers, pre-employment due diligence, and facilitating preboarding.
Lead intake meetings with hiring leaders to understand role requirements and business objectives.
Create engaging job postings and develop effective interview processes in collaboration with hiring managers.
Manage relationships with hiring managers while acting as a strategic partner, offering guidance and advice throughout the hiring process.
Provide training and best practices with hiring leaders to improve their abilities and efficiency in recruiting top-tier talent.
Manage internal recruitment processes, advertise job openings, and oversee the internal hiring process.
Collaborate with Finance and People and Culture to forecast recruitment headcount.
Ensure a high-quality experience for candidates and internal stakeholders by offering regular updates and transparent communication regarding progress.
Manage Certn's applicant tracking system (ATS), overseeing candidate pipeline, job approvals, and recruitment metrics.
Manage relationship and support hiring with Deel, a partner company that provides a platform for hiring and management of remote employees and contractors globally.
Support/Participate in P&C initiatives as needed collaborating with P&C Team and key stakeholders to help build and implement best practices relating to organizational effectiveness, P&C policies and practices, and various P&C functional areas.
Provide guidance to employees and business leaders on the interpretations and adoption of P&C policies and programs.
Lead/Participate in ad hoc projects as needed, concentrating on improving talent acquisition and people and culture efficiency through various initiatives.
We’re hoping you’ll bring:
Proven track record of leading end-to-end recruitment processes across various regions, including Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic hiring plans that align with organizational goals.
Experience in managing relationships with hiring managers and acting as a trusted advisor in talent acquisition matters.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to provide clear, regular updates to candidates and internal stakeholders.
Foundational understanding and exposure to HR best practices
Demonstrated experience in managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Expertise in utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter.
The following will be considered an asset:
Prior experience with Ashby Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Prior experience managing or partnering with Deel to support the hiring of Contractors and/or Employees of Record (EOR’s).
CPHR, CHRL, CIPD and/or RPR Designation
