About the role
As the Head of Talent Development, Learning and Inclusion, you will play a crucial role in creating and implementing comprehensive strategies and frameworks to cultivate a diverse, skilled and engaged workforce. You will be at the forefront of shaping our future through its people and lead a small but nimble team.

This role requires an innovative and experienced leader who can drive organisational growth through talent development, foster a culture of continuous learning and promote a culture of inclusivity at all levels.

You will be responsible for

Talent Development

  • Design and implement talent development programs that align with our strategic goals and support leadership succession.
  • Identify and develop high-potential employees to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create customised development plans for teams and individuals.
  • Utilise data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the People Leadership team to develop and execute an effective Leadership Coaching programme 

Learning and Development

  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive learning strategy that addresses current and future organisational needs.
  • Implement cutting-edge training programs, workshops and seminars to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Evaluate and select external training providers and resources to complement in-house initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organisation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through metrics and feedback and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. 
  • Provide people analytics on L&D Metrics, offering insights and identifying opportunities for operational enhancement. 
  • Effectively manage L&D Budget. 
  • Management of Learning Management System and e-learning courses. 
  • Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders. 

Inclusion and Diversity

  • Lead the development and execution of inclusion and diversity strategies to ensure a welcoming and equitable workplace.
  • Collaborate with the People Leadership team and Senior Leadership teams to embed inclusive practices in recruitment, retention and advancement processes.
  • Monitor and report on diversity metrics and progress towards clearly defined inclusion goals.
  • Serve as a champion for diversity and inclusion, promoting awareness and fostering an authentic and supportive culture.

About you

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven Executive/Leadership Coaching Qualification and experience is desirable.
  • Significant proven experience in talent development, learning, and inclusion roles with experience of managing a small team.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent development and learning programs.
  • Strong understanding of diversity and inclusion best practices and their application in the workplace.
  • Ability to analyse data and metrics to measure program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to develop long-term plans to leverage talent and drive organizational growth.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to influence and collaborate across all levels.
