This position works in sync with the HR Compliance team providing guidance, employee data support and ownership of at least one area of identified risk.What you will do• Business Consultation• Employs HR Service Center (HRSC) case management, HRIS job change tasks, & routine auditing processes to identify trends, monitor the situation, and attempt to determine the root causes of risk. Suggests innovative mitigation solutions and escalates opportunities to the appropriate HR partner(s), stakeholder(s), or vendor partner(s) for action.• Acts as a initial partner and resource to HR coworkers and enterprise clients for routine HR Regulatory questions and processes.• Conducts individualized assessments based on understanding of regulations.• Researches and directly responds to routine HR Compliance questions. Collaborates with appropriate cohorts to resolve more complex questions that may involve innovative compromises or allayed concessions.• Operation and Risk Mitigation Support• Project Manages at least one enterprise-wide legislative requirement or program initiative; cross trains on other areas and able to provide additional support and/or provide coverage.• Provides administrative support for Hospital Regulatory, accreditation or governmental surveys and periodically conducts HR audits for Joint Commission, OFCCP, EEOC, CMS, Departments of Health and Labor.• Takes the initiative to identify and participate in on-going development and training activities to increase knowledge of applicable HR state, regulatory and industry guidance.• Finds opportunities within their workstreams to reduce expenses and to continuously improve efficacy, client experience and/or productivity.• Additional tasks as needed by the business.Education Qualifications• Associate's Degree - Required• Bachelor's Degree - PreferredExperience Qualifications• At least three (3) years Working in an HR focus area, or in a consultative/ analytical role within a complex business environment - Required• Previous experience working as a point of contact for internal and external facing clients, responsibility for reporting out key data or metrics, accountability for legal or business trends within a professional industry - Required• Previous experience using data visualization (ex. tables, charts, graphs) to relay information to stakeholders to assist them in making innovative data-driven decisions and solutions - Required• Previous or current professional experience with direct accountability / responsibility for HR regulatory obligations - Required• Previous or current employment in the healthcare industry -PreferredSkills and Abilities• Customer service orientation• Consultative skills and the ability to manage an enterprise-wide project involving multi-disciplinary clients• Intermediate working knowledge of HR Regulatory Compliance processes, programs and agencies including, but not limited to Joint Commission, Center for Medicaid & Medicare (CMS), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), Department of Labor and Department of Health.• Ability to work efficiently despite competing demands or changing priorities.• Ability to adhere to an expectation of complete confidentiality on all matters.• Strong organizational and project management skills with the proven ability to take initiative to complete assignments and responsibilities on time• Proficiency in problem analysis, issue resolution, planning and time management.• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup and other advanced functions and formulas).To carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community.
