General Description:

The role of the Senior Sales Executive (Business Development Manager) is to identify, qualify and close sales opportunities for digital services and solutions within the Healthcare & Life Sciences vertical.  The ideal candidate is a person who has not just built their own very successful track record in sales and business development but can uncover client pain points, create solution visions that motivate clients to engage CI&T to solve, manage the sales and internal solution development process which ultimately leads to compelling proposals that solve complex business and technical problems resulting in closed contracts and new revenue.


You have a strong grasp of B2B solutions and services sales and an understanding of the role business development plays in lead generation and lead qualification.


What you’ll do:

- Conduct prospecting for qualified leads (organic and CI&T sourced), build a pipeline of new, well-qualified business opportunities, develop and lead the sales strategy on specific opportunities and manage the prospect to successfully close new business

- Work closely and collaboratively with the marketing and industry vertical leadership team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans

- Drive (and develop as required) capabilities presentations or pitches for target prospects

- Conduct needs-based discovery assessments and present insights to specific prospects leading to material new opportunities


Responsibilities:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the healthcare and life sciences market, both locally and nationally

- Identify and research potential prospects/clients

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry

- Coordinate and lead the sales engineering team and the appropriate Growth Unit to develop mutually beneficial proposals

- Negotiate and close contracts with clients and ensure customer satisfaction and retention

- Monitor and manage legal team to ensure contracts are executed as agreed

- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, product, and delivery, to provide feedback and insights from the market and customers

- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data to develop and implement differentiated sales strategies

- Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives

- Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business

- Track, identify, cultivate and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline

- Develop and manage strategic industry partnerships to grow business

- Track and report on the status of proposal components

- Drive the end-to-end sales process

- Coordinate with solution engineers and marketing

- Prepare and submit proposals, SOWs and sales contracts

- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our brand and services


Requirements:

We are looking for someone with the following attributes: 

- 5+ years of experience in Healthcare & Life Sciences

- Digital Strategy

- Product Management

- Technology Services

- HCP digital engagement solutions

- Patient digital engagement solutions

- 7-10 years of sales experience within a professional services or consulting organization

- Strong communication skills, engaging a variety of prospects and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes

- Motivated by goals, with a strong desire to work hard and not only meet but exceed targets set for oneself

- Willingness to learn and become a master of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

- A strong sense of self-motivation

- The ability to think of creative solutions in the face of opposition

- Strategic thinker

- Track record of success
