HAVE TAKEN FILED AND TAKEN THE CLERICAL ASSOCIATE BRIDGE EXAM, OR BE ELIGIBLE UNDER THE 55A PROGRAM ***


The candidate will assist the Director by performing various clerical functions for the Adopt-A-Highway Sponsorship and Volunteer Programs. The candidate will prepare, maintain, and communicate data associated with over 160 community volunteer groups and individuals currently in the program with over 200 sites as well as Highway Sponsors and approved Maintenance Providers for approximate 362 miles of highway. Candidate will assist staff by preparing memos and receipts necessary to facilitate our partners, sponsors, and maintenance providers. As the point of first contact, candidate will answer phone calls and emails from prospective volunteers and sponsors professionally, answer inquiries to the best of their ability, and refer complex inquiries to the proper personnel.

Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
