B2B Account Manager

City Wide is currently seeking a Facility Solutions Manager (FSM or Account Manager) to join our team!


Objective: The FSM is responsible for the business operations of an assigned client contracted service area. This position provides field support including – training, guidance with starting new clients, inspections of Contractor performance and compliance with client requirements, trouble-shooting customer request/complaints, coordinating site visits, and developing long-term relationships with clients and Contractors. Additional responsibilities include negotiating contracts, procuring supplies from clients, and ensuring high client satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Manage client retention, expansion, and diversification of City Wide building solutions/products.
    • Negotiate agreements for additional services, including pricing, staffing, and logistics.
    • Ensure excellent client satisfaction through consistent follow-ups and quality control inspections.
    • Communicate client concerns effectively with contractors and leadership, resolving issues promptly.
  • Contractor Management:
    • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with contractors.
    • Manage contractor agreements and compliance with service specifications.
    • Develop and enforce client-specific service standards and ensure contractor performance.
    • Replace contractors as needed to maintain service quality.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination:
    • Oversee assigned Night Manager and ensure correct execution of service strategies.
    • Ensure adequate staffing to meet client service needs, both internally and externally.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Monitor the procurement and supply of client materials and products.
    • Manage and perform client inspections, utilizing CRM systems to add charges and schedule non-routine activities.
    • Maintain up-to-date Client and Contractor documents, such as Exhibit A’s.
    • Ensure all SDS sheets in janitor closets are complete, accurate, and properly labeled.
  • Quality Control & Client Satisfaction:
    • Conduct detailed quality control inspections at client sites and ensure consistent service delivery.
    • Discuss client survey responses, addressing any complaints or service deficiencies with the Director of Operations, Night Managers, and Contractors.
    • Develop and implement improvement plans for service deficiencies and monitor compliance.
  • Financial & Administrative Support:
    • Assist accounting in collecting past-due invoices and payment invoices for contractors as needed.
    • Maintain updated route sheets, key/alarm sheets, and monthly planner for each client.
    • Participate in monthly IC paydays.

  • 3+ years of sales and management experience in building maintenance, facility management or equivalent experience.
  • High School diploma required, bachelor’s degree highly desirable.
  • Highly detail oriented and excellent follow-through on commitments.
  • Positive and out-going personality; great at building relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM database.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year + Car Allowance + Commission + Bonus Opportunity
