Portfolio Representative

Compensation: $39,000 - $50,000 depending on experience
Modality: Hybrid
FLSA Exemption: Exempt
Schedule:  Monday - Friday with a rotating Saturday for weekend coverage.

What you'll be doing 

  • Partner with the lessee to help determine the reason for their account delinquency and evaluate the customer's financial situation; negotiate for full payment or create terms for repayment.

  • May take escalation calls and/or more complex collection situations from new or junior collector.

  • Consistently learn and apply operational policies and State & Federal regulations governing collection practices.

  • Have structured workdays with expectation calls are monitored for quality and accuracy; demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, in order to achieve department productivity metrics.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by leadership

What you have: 

  • Must possess intermediate-level written and strong verbal skills

  • Must be organized, personable, analytical, capable problem-solvers

  • Work well alone or as a member of a team

  • Must be courteous and professional when dealing with past due customers, they might also need to be assertive on occasion

  • Must be able to receive and follow instructions given by management, work to develop solutions to unique problems

What will make you stand out: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a customer contact role in a fast-paced organization

  • 1-2+ years of Portfolio or account resolution experience

  • Knowledge of the lease industry is a plus
