Position Summary:

The Azure Cloud Solutions Engineer is a critical member of the Pax8 Professional Services team. They will be charged with executing scoped Azure projects such as migrations, AVD deployments, Azure infrastructure architecture and deployment, and other Azure related duties. They are team players, working with their colleagues and our operations team to ensure project excellence with on time and high-quality execution.

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

Execute on professional services engagement in accordance with established timelines and expectation set forth in a scope of work.
Collaborate with other members of the Pax8 Professional Services organization including Solution Specialists (pre-sales engineers) and operations (project management) to aid in project success
Research, learn about, and master emerging technologies and concepts within the Azure space; acquire new certifications

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

1-2 years of experience in Azure with an emphasis on Azure Migration
Prior experience with Azure Migration, Azure Site Recovery
Prior experience with Azure storage, azure network (virtual networking, NSG, VPN, etc.)
Knowledge of or exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop
Knowledge of or exposure to general server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux)
Working knowledge of Hypervisors (Hyper-V, VMware)
General Azure troubleshooting experience (networking, DNS, etc)

Required Education & Certifications:

B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Requires Azure Administrator Associate or ability to obtain within 90-days of hire
Azure Network Engineer Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate are desirable
Candidates with advanced certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert may be considered for hire at a higher level for this role

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $82,000/yr or more depending on experience

Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
