We are looking for a seasoned IT leader who will manage our existing relationship with an external IT vendor while planning and executing growth strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of AI, healthcare technology, compliance, and the operational needs of medical practices.About Us:We operate multiple healthcare clinics focused on providing high-quality cardiovascular, radiology, and surgical services. Our commitment to patient care and operational excellence is supported by the need for robust, secure, and efficient technology systems. As we grow, we are preparing to add to our IT operations with in-house support to ensure we meet our evolving technological and compliance demands.Key Responsibilities:• Act as the primary liaison between our clinics and external IT vendor, overseeing IT service delivery and support.• Evaluate our current IT infrastructure across all clinics and recommend improvements to ensure operational efficiency and security.• Lead the strategic transition from fully outsourced IT services to a collaborative relationship with in-house IT support.• Oversee IT operations, ensuring network security, data protection, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, etc.).• Collaborate with clinic leadership to align IT strategies with business needs and healthcare compliance requirements.• Manage technology budgets, vendor contracts, and in-house IT staffing needs.• Ensure all systems and software used by our clinics support patient care, scheduling, billing, and reporting.Qualifications:• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, such as Director of IT, CTO, or similar, preferably in a healthcare setting.• Strong AI knowledge.• Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Practice Management Software, and compliance standards such as HIPAA.• Experience working with external IT vendors and leading transitions to in-house IT teams.• Expertise in managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data privacy in healthcare environments.• Demonstrated ability to lead IT teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively with non-technical leadership.Preferred:• Experience in multi-clinic environments or supporting healthcare networks.• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards related to IT infrastructure.Job Type: Full-timePay: $200,000.00 - $253,000.00 per yearBenefits:• 401(k)• Dental insurance• Health insurance• Vision insuranceSchedule:• Day shift• Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):• What licenses/certificates do you hold?Education:• Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:• CTO: 5 years (Preferred)• IT Director: 5 years (Preferred)Location:• San Diego, CA 92123 (Preferred)Ability to Commute:• San Diego, CA 92123 (Preferred)Work Location: In person
