Structural Reviewer / Engineer (US Property Consulting, WFH)

Salary: P70,000- P90,000 (Monthly Gross Package)

Schedule:  Tuesday to Saturday (12:00 AM to 9:00AM Manila Time)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
  • 10 years of structural design experience
  • Knowledge and experience in assessing various property types preferred
  • Familiarity with construction best practices, general building codes, and building types
  • Self-starter, resourceful, and the ability to work productively and independently on multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines with guidance from senior staff

Nice to have:

  • Certification as a Professional Structural Engineer

What will you do?

  • Review structural plans and geotechnical reports
  • Review plans to determine the impact of modifications to roofing systems on structural integrity and necessary retrofitting of structural supports to achieve code compliance
  • Conducting structural feasibility analyses of existing buildings to assess suitability for solar installations. Review and evaluate solar racking systems to ensure compatibility with existing structures and compliance with codes
  • Make recommendations for structural retrofit and probable costs for building systems using our cost and recommendation libraries
  • Write clear and concise structural risk assessment reports using our in-house report templates
  • Conduct public records research regarding building permit history
  • Observe general compliance of as-built conditions with the structural drawings and specifications
  • Manage multiple projects
  • Work as a team member, utilizing the experience and knowledge of senior authors
  • Deliver outstanding client service with timely responses and proactive solutions
