Systems Administrator - multiple levels - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED

Linux, Windows, UNIX, RHEL, Kali, Solaris, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Mandriva 


Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.


Required:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
  • This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to the job you are applying for:
  • Level 04 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience
  • Level 03 requires a minimum twelve (12) years of direct/relevant experience
  • Level 02 requires a minimum nine (09) years of direct/relevant experience
  • Level 01 requires a minimum six (06) years of direct/relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (05) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
  • Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.


$100,000 - $200,000 a year
The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
