Who We Need
  • Immediately Hiring a Learning and Development Coordinator to join our People First Department in Mesa, AZ. 
    The Learning and Development Coordinator administers arrangements and logistics related to all Copa Health training programs. This position is responsible for assisting with the creation and maintenance of the training calendars, coordination of training events, updating the employee training records in the Learning Management System (LMS), prepares, and distributes training materials, and manages the course completion records. This position will support incoming new hires as well as existing employees who work across two specialisms, Behavioral Health, and Division of Developmental Disabilities (DD) programs. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
     
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires any combination of training, education, and experience listed below:
  
  • A High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma or associate degree, required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent combination experience).
  • Proven experience in coordinating training programs or educational initiatives, preferably in a behavioral health or related setting.: Proficiency in typing, using computer software, i.e., learning management systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

JOB SUMMARY (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
  • Coordinate training programs and workshops for staff development, ensuring logistical arrangements and resources are efficiently managed.
  • Coordinates New Employee Orientation (NEO) by aligning training resources and communicates schedule to program leadership and all other applicable parties.
  • Assist with Copa training logistics and set up of tasks, as necessary to support the L&D trainers.
  • Organizes and prepares materials and supplies for training and development courses, such as notebooks, handouts, flipcharts, projectors, laptops, or other resources.
  • Responsible for creating personalized new hire training agendas based on position and department.
  • Assists with the administration of our LMS including data entry and reporting.
  • Maintains training and development records and equipment.
  • Assists in scheduling and registration for training and development courses and conferences, and in preparing and updating course rosters.
  • Assists with maintaining training and development records and calendars, including completing records of participation.
  • Assists with coordinating and maintaining a schedule for training and development presentations.
  • Assists in preparing articles for in-house publications.
  • May occasionally assist in delivering training in a classroom or in a distance learning or eLearning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and data related to training activities, generating reports for analysis and improvement.
  • Performs department purchasing tasks, reconciliation of expenses, and submission of invoices.
  • Coordinate assigned training initiatives or projects, ensure delivery is completed by assigned deadlines, and provide subject status updates to stakeholders.
