Representing our full suite of products, you'll build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Here's a closer look at your responsibilities:• Leading a team to meet (or exceed) monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.• Accurately forecasting sales for purposes of strategic planning.• Monitoring and analyzing sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.• Onboarding new sales representatives.• Providing ongoing coaching to both newly tenured and seasoned sellers, fostering a supportive team environment and continuous learning.• Serving as a subject matter expert or advisor and handling issues escalated by team members.• Remaining up to date on Cox's products and services.• Representing Cox in the local community.• Collaborating with marketing, inside sales, customer service and other internal partners.• Generating creative ideas and partnerships to drive business growth and enhance sales performance.• Leading sales team meetings and sharing best practices throughout the region.• Traveling as required (up to 25%) to build new relationships and nurture existing ones.Who You AreYou're a skilled relationship builder who demonstrates business acumen. An adaptable and communicative leader, you know how to promote accountability to work effectively with teams throughout an organization. Here's what else you bring to the table:Minimum:• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year experience in a related field; or 10 years' experience in a related field• 1+ year of experience in management or lead role.• 5 years of experience in business-to-business consultative sales.• Experience using Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office.• A valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.Preferred:• 2+ year of experience in a management role.• 3 years of experience in communications sales.• Experience in the telecommunications industry.• Experience compiling, preparing and submitting bid responses to RFQs, RFIs and RFPs.• Knowledge of the local market.• Knowledge of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), Hosted Exchange services, Unified Security Management services and Microsoft Office 365 services.Rediscover your passion for the art and science of sales.
