Product Manager (Part-Time)

As the Product Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping our product roadmap, driving end-to-end product development, and ensuring an exceptional user experience. Working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, you’ll translate vision into actionable deliverables, align stakeholders, and drive strategic initiatives to meet the needs of our customers and support our growth.

Job Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, gaps, and trends.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize features and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

  • Lead the product development process from ideation to launch, working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver features on time.
  • Create user stories, product requirements, and acceptance criteria, ensuring a clear understanding of deliverables.
  • Drive minimum viable product planning and incremental improvements based on user feedback and metrics.

User-Centric Approach:

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, pain points, and requests to inform product iterations.
  • Use data-driven insights to validate assumptions and continuously refine the product.
  • Ensure a seamless user experience by prioritizing usability and functionality.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Act as a bridge between departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Prepare and present product updates to stakeholders, including leadership, sales, marketing, and customer support teams.

Metrics and Performance Monitoring:

  • Define and track product KPIs, leveraging analytics tools to assess feature success and impact.
  • Identify and troubleshoot product issues, optimize user flows, and ensure product quality.
  • Ensure that the Dev team is meeting targets and that goals/KPIs are set for them.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally within a SaaS or tech startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, UX/UI design principles, and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to product development.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a knack for inspiring and aligning teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a startup environment with fast-paced product cycles.
  • Familiarity with technical concepts and ability to liaise with development teams effectively.
