About the Opportunity

Ready to be the architect of efficiency and innovation at Cribl? Our Sr. Manager of Engineering on Enterprise Applications will play a pivotal role in streamlining our enterprise applications ecosystem and driving business impact. You'll wield your deep Salesforce expertise to optimize automations, build custom solutions across CPQ, Experience and Service Clouds, and seamlessly integrate with key systems like billing platforms, ERPs, and marketing tools.

What You'll Accomplish

As a Sr. Manager, Engineering, on the Enterprise Applications team, you will play a key role in the design and execution of our Enterprise Applications strategy that directly impacts internal business operations. Specifically, you will:

  • Manage 4 developers and 2 administrators responsible for building our applications, namely Salesforce and its integrating systems, such as Marketo, Gainsight, NetSuite and Ironclad to name a few. 
  • Play a critical role in scaling the EntApps team to support Cribl's strong growth trajectory, welcoming opportunities to take on increased responsibility, mentor new team members, and shape the future of our strategy.
  • Establish a strong partnership and process between EntApps Engineering and our 4 EntApps Product Managers (PMs) that ensures smooth collaboration and quality delivery. 
  • Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Salesforce applications, leveraging your deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
  • Build and optimize declarative systems (flows, layouts, apps, etc.) in Salesforce and recommend programmatic solutions when necessary.
  • Lead the development of a new Salesforce integration with our billing platform to automate revenue recognition.
  • Optimize CPQ this year and migrate to a modern revenue lifecycle management (RLM) system in the near future. 
  • Evaluate business requirements and potential solutions to recommend buy vs. build strategies.
  • Leverage AI technologies, such as Einstein, AgentForce and 3rd party apps, to enhance business productivity. 
  • Oversee the release management lifecycle, including planning, deployment, and post-deployment support.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce, AI and business systems advancements and technology trends, continuously evolving your skillset and sharing knowledge with the team.

 

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer/architect, with a proven track record of building complex enterprise applications.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of Salesforce developers and the collaborative process between them and BSAs/PMs.
  • Extensive expertise in Salesforce architecture, including data models, security, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Sales, Service and Experience Clouds, along with relevant hands-on experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL and evolving technical capabilities of the Salesforce platform. 
  • Experience with SOAP/REST API development and integration using iPaas solutions like Celigo, Okta Workflows, and Workato.
  • Experience with generative AI concepts and tooling, both within Salesforce and beyond, is a plus.
  • Salesforce certifications strongly preferred, ideally in multiple domains.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience scaling a function at a remote-first company. 
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment for a SaaS company. 
  • Passion for learning and staying updated on the latest Salesforce advancements.
  • Excited about the Data space.
  • Good jokes, or maybe better, bad jokes.
  • A love for goats

 

Salary Range ($212,000 - $266,000)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
