Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Systems Manager to join our Finance, Data and Strategic Initiatives function, to support the delivery of key initiatives as part of the on-going development of the finance function and help to maintain the operating effectiveness of assigned finance systems and reports to ensure they are fit for purpose.

In this newly created role, you will work within a dynamic finance team at the forefront of driving change, uplifting and integrating finance systems to facilitate robust and reliable insight and analysis. support the development and maintenance of a robust control environment over finance systems and associated processes.


Here's more of what you’ll work on:

  • Support the enhancement and maintenance of a robust control environment over finance systems and associated processes with a focus on simplification, standardisation and automation.
  • Manage Finance System administration activities/processes for allocated Finance Systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of Finance systems and configurations, as well as related policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Respond to audit queries on a timely basis.
  • Participating in risk management awareness sessions and forums as required.

Qualifications

What can you bring?

  • 5+ years financial and payroll systems maintenance / support.
  • 5+ years’ experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Excel, and intermediate use of Office.
  • Advanced user of a General Ledger System.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in accounting and finance activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end, financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting etc.
  • Risk and Data management.

Although not required, any experience in the following would be highly regarded:

  • Finance and/or accounting.
  • Project Management.
  • Financial system implementation.
  • Development and improvement of system-related processes.
  • Systems testing.
  • Developing user training and maintaining user guides.
