Based in Westlake Village, we are a full-service accounting firm specializing in a broad range of services for business owners, executives, and independent professionals.We are seeking an Audit Senior to eventually take over the audit functions of our practice.• Opportunity for Partnership track• Role to start in-office and eventually move fully remotePosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Audit CPA to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits for our clients, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. You will work primarily with government and non-profit organizations, providing insights and recommendations to improve their financial processes.Key Responsibilities• Conduct audits for government and non-profit organizations• Evaluate financial statements and related documentation for accuracy and compliance• Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to clients• Occassional travel to client sites (usually only once per year)• Collaborate with client management to address audit issues• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in auditingQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study preferred• Active CPA or CPA eligibility preferred• 3+ years of auditing experience, preferably with municipal, government, or non-profit entities• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standardsBenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
