Senior procurement & project manager

! This role lasts initially for nine months with onsite presence in Prague, CZ.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage the list of suppliers allocated & retrieve contact information from the systems
  • Work closely with category leads, escalate suppliers, when necessary, coordinate the discussions, summarize and update the status of each supplier
  • Plan, execute, and successfully complete projects on time
  • Develop detailed project plans with list of suppliers in scope, goals, milestones and deliverables.
  • Utilize your strategic thinking and analytical skills to handle supplier queries
  • Update the tracker regularly for accurate on time reporting
  • Be on top of schedules and involve category leads only when required
  • Propose better tracking and management solution for the project proactively
  • 6+ years of relevant business experience from project & procurement area
  • Strong business acumen in Procurement or other related experience within consultancy, preferably in category management, supplier management, or related area, with a focus in the strategic procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement project management methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel on advanced level)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle complex discussions with suppliers and manage business communications effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with suppliers and category teams and time management skills.
  • Fluency in English (spoken & written);
