Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Developer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to build hands-on experience in software quality assurance, Salesforce, and financial technology. You will work alongside experienced developers and QA engineers to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our systems and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce configurations, Apex code, and third-party API integrations.
- Conduct end-to-end testing across the loan lifecycle (application, underwriting, servicing, collections).
- Automate regression testing where appropriate using tools such as Selenium, Provar, or TestComplete.
- Validate data integrity between systems (Salesforce, LMS, payment processors, credit bureaus, etc.).
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify defects early in the development cycle and drive resolution.
- Create and maintain clear documentation of QA processes, results, and known issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline by integrating automated tests and improving testing coverage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills.
· Strong requirement-gathering skills to define scope, identify edge cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Eagerness to learn about software QA practices, Salesforce, and financial applications.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles.
- Some exposure to SQL, data analysis, or testing tools is a plus (coursework or internships welcome).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Exposure to Salesforce (e.g., Trailhead modules, academic projects).
- Familiarity with REST APIs or tools like Postman.
- Knowledge of QA tools such as TestRail, Selenium, or any automated testing framework.
