Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time, in-person Junior Web Developer & Database Intern to support our team with rebuilding our website and assisting with light branding and design work using Canva. This is a great opportunity for students or recent grads in Computer Science, IT, or Digital Media fields looking to build their portfolio and contribute to a meaningful project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in rebuilding and redesigning the company website (WordPress or Shopify experience a plus).
- Support database development using SQL or other tools to improve internal systems or integrations.
- Create and update visual assets including logos, headers, and graphics using Canva.
- Troubleshoot basic frontend/backend issues and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with the CTO and CEO on design concepts and layout.
- Help ensure website responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Support content updates and implement feedback from leadership.
- Maintain organized documentation of code and changes.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Experience with SQL and database structure basics.
- Prior experience with WordPress, Shopify, or another CMS is a bonus.
- Eye for clean, modern design and basic Canva skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Self-starter attitude with willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or related field.

- $15.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience.
