Senior Product Designer

Dealpath is looking for a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about designing for growth initiatives that engage users and simplify their workflow, and who is energized by tackling complex systems. 

As a senior product designer you’ll be a key strategic design leader who can also execute quickly in our fast-paced startup environment. You’ll work alongside a passionate and talented cross-functional team to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points through qualitative and quantitative research in an effort to drive user engagement with compelling designs.]

What you’ll do

  • Lead the end-to-end design process of major features and iterations, ensuring a seamless user experience
  • Partner with product managers to develop the strategy and rationale for features
  • Build a deep understanding of users’ needs, behaviors, and pain points through qualitative and quantitative research
  • Quickly design and prototype multiple concepts to validate product directions
  • Effectively communicate design ideas and incorporate feedback from a diverse group of stakeholders, including C-level executives
  • Provide and seek feedback to continuously elevate design standards
  • Conduct user testing and integrate findings into iterative design improvements
  • Create detailed specifications and assets for engineers
  • Work side-by-side with engineers and quality analysts to ensure the final product meets design expectations

The skill set

  • 4+ years of professional hands-on experience at a product-driven tech company
  • Have a strong portfolio, showcasing a depth of knowledge in research, user experience, interaction, and visual design
  • Demonstrated ability of coaching team to more effectively apply design patterns
  • Hands-on experience with the latest design tools 
  • B.A/B.S. in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field/equivalent experience

Nice to have

  • Interest in FinTech or Real Estate
  • Experience working with B2B/SaaS products
  • Understanding of front-end frameworks and HTML/CSS/JS

  • The estimated pay range for California candidates for this position is $ 170,000 - $195,000 base. This position is also eligible for Dealpath's equity plan. Your compensation will be based upon several factors including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and the skills assessed in Dealpath's interview process.
