Role Description: The Legal Counsel typically has a minimum of 2 years of immigration law experience, with at least 1+ years as a Junior Legal Counsel or similar roles. And is primarily responsible for:
Drafting, reviewing, and editing immigration petitions, applications, and other legal documents.
Providing support to clients for immigration-related questions or concerns through all available communication channels.
Offering industry-leading experience to clients by providing legal support (including consular support) and strategy from the initial kick-off call through petition filing.
Providing legal advice and support to various departments within the organization on immigration matters.
Ensuring and maintaining compliance in accordance with relevant immigration laws and regulations in the assigned countries.
Assisting with compliance and risk management activities related to immigration in the assigned countries
Handing complex immigration-related disputes and managing proceedings with immigration authorities.
Contributing to immigration product planning and scoping.
Developing and implementing immigration policies and procedures that are in line with the organization’s goals.
Conducting legal research and providing strategic insights on immigration issues.
This a fully remote work, you can be located outside the US.
