As a member of our Finance team, you will ensure our financial operations align with our growth, setting industry standards for excellence. You’ll optimize revenue recognition processes and collaborate across teams to drive financial alignment with business goals.
Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in full compliance with IFRS 15. Review and analyze contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment and ensure alignment with accounting standards.
Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing adjustments. Support the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures for revenue, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline revenue recognition processes, particularly for complex contracts. Drive continuous improvements and best practices in the recognition process.
Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews, ensuring smooth, timely processes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Deal Desk, Legal, and Sales Operations, to ensure consistency and alignment on revenue-related matters. Provide actionable insights to support informed business decisions.
Contribute to the implementation and ongoing maintenance of revenue recognition systems and tools. Ensure systems are configured to comply with IFRS 15 and meet evolving business needs.
Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive revenue recognition policies, procedures, and controls. Ensure that documentation is clear, accessible, and in line with best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is desired.
A minimum of 5 years in revenue management or accounting, with strong expertise in IFRS 15. Big 4 accounting experience is a distinct advantage.
Familiarity with Workday, Chargebee, or similar tools is beneficial.
Strong ability to analyze complex financial data, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally.
A commitment to the highest ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial reporting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
