The Respiratory Care Program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites applications for anticipated part-time, and full-time temporary positions at the Instructor and Assistant Professor level for the academic year 2022-2023. IUP offers a CoARC accredited program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care, within the department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions. The successful candidate(s) will be assigned to the Pittsburgh East regional campus, and may be assigned to work at off campus sites and/or provide instruction through distance education. DutiesThe successful candidate(s) will be expected to teach a variety of undergraduate courses throughout the curriculum (including instruction in the didactic, laboratory, and clinical setting). Engage in scholarly work in the field and participate in related university and community services.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Required: Bachelor's degree in respiratory care. Hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential and current state license. Preferred: Master's degree in Respiratory Care. An established record of accomplishment in teaching, scholarship, and service.The department seeks candidates whose teaching, research, and/or service has prepared them to contribute to IUP’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
