Power BI Developer, Project Management

The Performance and Capacity Management Department aims to achieve maximum performance in the delivery of projects, programs and investment portfolios. We advise stakeholders, portfolio managers and decision-making bodies based our analyses of key performance indicators, including delivery capacity and financial performance. We’re looking for a talented and experienced Power BI Developer, Senior Project Management, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise with Power BI and solid experience in BI project management. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining reports and dashboards that support the organization’s strategic objectives. More specifically, you will be required to:  

• Work with various stakeholders to design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI

• Design robust and optimized data models to meet complex analytical needs

• Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide adapted solutions

• Ensure data integrity, quality and accuracy in reports and dashboards

• Help continually improve existing and future BI processes and solutions

• Design and implement BI dataflows as required by the department

• Administer Power BI Service workspaces to meet Desjardins’s performance, capacity and security requirements.

What you bring to the table  

• Bachelor's degree in a related field  

• A minimum of six years of relevant experience  

• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered  

• Proven experience with Power BI, including creating dashboards from A to Z

• Experience with data from multiple sources

• Knowledge of French is required

• Expertise in data modelling and SQL

• Proficiency in DAX and M languages

• Proficiency in data storytelling concepts

• Knowledge of data processing and cleaning

• Knowledge of project management
