Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Perform database installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Create and manage database users, roles, and permissions.
• Implement database security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning strategies.
• Perform regular database backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for SQL-related issues.
• Stay updated on the latest SQL technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of SQL databases with other systems and applications.
• Maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

• 12+ years as a BI Developer, Data Engineer, or similar experience .
• Strong experience in Python and SQL is required
• Demonstrated experience developing business reporting applications (Qlik Sense, Tableau, or similar BI tool), end-to-end Demonstrated
• experience developing ETL pipelines and architecture
• Previous experience in FinTech Industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Someone who thrives within a dynamic, quickly changing environment; is curious and self-driven.
• -Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field -
• Microsoft certifications in SQL Server or Data Management
• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Database Administration
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• Experience in SSRS
• Experience in database backup and recovery
• Strong proficiency in managing Microsoft SQL databases

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an MS SQL Developer.
• Strong expertise in SQL query tuning and optimization.
• Proficiency in creating, modifying, and troubleshooting stored procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
