About the role

The Private Equity Events Specialist will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and  executing a range of high-impact events aimed at engaging and building relationships with  senior industry executives and Private Equity professionals. This role will combine strategic planning, creative thinking, stakeholder management, and operational excellence to ensure  that Dialectica remains at the forefront of industry engagement. 

Event Strategy and Planning 

  • Develop an annual calendar of events tailored to the private equity and Executive  Community audience, including conferences; webinars; roundtables; and networking  receptions. 
  • Define event objectives and success metrics aligned with Dialectica’s broader strategic  goals. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify target audiences, themes, and speakers that  resonate with private equity and executive stakeholders. 

Event Execution 

  • Oversee end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budget  tracking, and on-site coordination. 
  • Partner with marketing, design, and business development teams to develop promotional  materials, registration platforms, and post-event content. 
  • Ensure events are executed seamlessly and reflect the high-quality standards that Dialectica is known for.

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Cultivate relationships with private equity firms, portfolio companies, and industry experts  to enhance event participation and content relevance. 
  • Work closely with Dialectica’s private equity team to align event strategies with client  acquisition and retention objectives. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for speakers, sponsors, and key attendees. 

Post-Event Analysis 

  • Collect feedback from attendees to evaluate event impact and identify areas for  improvement.
  • Generate post-event reports summarizing key outcomes, learnings, and ROI. Leverage insights to continuously enhance future events. 
  • Market Awareness and Innovation 
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to position Dialectica as a thought  leader in private equity. 
  • Experiment with new formats, technologies, and engagement strategies to create unique  event experiences. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in event management, preferably within the private equity or  professional services industry. 
  • Strong understanding of the private equity ecosystem, including key players and market  dynamics. 
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle  multiple events simultaneously. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior-level  stakeholders. 
  • Proven track record of managing event budgets and delivering measurable results. - Proficiency in event management platforms, CRM systems, and marketing tools.
